Lobuche Peak

Peak climbing in Nepal is an Exciting adventure. Among the various peaks lobuche is one of the popular peaks. So, most of the climbers visit this peak every year. It attracts the trekkers and has so many routes to climb. But the easiest route is through the south ridge. It is surrounded by some of the small peaks but the main peak requires steep climbing on snow and ice slopes to the top from summit ridge.
The trek commences from Lukla, Namche Bazar, Tengboche and up to Pheriche to trek to Dugla. The altitude of the base camp is 4950m. At the base of the glaciated south west face you find a lake near to rockery hollow. The spectacular view of Cholaste peak, Thamserku peak, Kantega Peak and Tawache peak seen from here. Your climb follows the way in the steep stone terraces and snow slopes below the main glacier the south west face of the lobuche east. Fixing the ropes is required overlooking lobuche and the Khumbu glacier to fix the high camp. Lobuche is enlisted in the peak climbing in Nepal where NMA (Nepal mountaineering association) has given authorization. Proceeding from the sharp snow ridge to the summit we follow the route to North West heading the main summit bumps reach a notch. To reach the main summit you should climb further in quite difficult snow slopes. This peak can be climbed from east face following the way of a dark pyramid of scabby rock which joins the south ridge to reach the summit
