Chulu West
Chulu west peak is the higher peak between two Chulus. This peak was first climbed by the Japanese Expedition in 1952. The location of the base camp of this peak is in a small valley north of Manang village the main trail to the Throng La. Some controversies is seen regarding the name and location because near these peaks are there but no induction in the map. So it is hard to separate the two Chulus.
There are 4 peaks in the Chulu group, two in the east and two in the west. The other name of Chulu west is Chulu central. It is easy to ascend the peak but the movement can be slow because of vulnerability in certain cases in Chulu west.
