Mount Changtse is located adjacently north of Everest. Changtse in Tibetan language means north peak. Changtse mountain was first ascended in October 1982 by German expedition team officially but in fact it had already been climbed by the Dutch climber Johan Takes; only 11 days before. This peak was also climbed by Dutch team in 1982. 

Our expedition starts by driving to Nepal-Tibet border. After immigration formalities, the team will reach Changtse and Everest base camp in 6 days via Nyalam and Tingri. 

  • DAY 01 : Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel
  • DAY 02 – 03 : In Kathmandu for Tibet visa processing, briefing & preparation
  • DAY 04 : Drive to Zangmu (2350m-7708ft) O/N Hotel
  • DAY 05 : Drive to Nyalam (3750m-12,300ft)- O/N Guest House
  • DAY 06 : Rest day for acclimatization- O/N Guest House
  • DAY 07 : Drive to Thingri (4350m-14,268ft)- O/N Guest House
  • DAY 08 : Rest day in Thingri for acclimatization- O/N Guest House
  • DAY 09 : Drive to Everest base camp (5200m-17,056ft)
  • DAY 10 – 11 : At the base camp to acclimatize and preparing loads for advance base camp
  • DAY 12: Trek to Intermediate Camp (6200m-20,336ft)
  • DAY 13 : Arrive at advance base camp (6400m-20,992ft)
  • DAY 31: Advance base camp to base camp
  • DAY 32 : Drive to Nyalam
  • DAY 33 : Drive to Kathmandu
  • DAY 34 : Rest and Shopping day
  • DAY 35 : Expedition ends, farewell and departure
